The sponsorship cards arrived yesterday and it’s all systems go for the 7th July! Swimmer number 2 (Bernie) collected his card and vowed that for a 2 mile swim that the MINIMUM anyone should pledge should be Euro 20!
Onwards and upwards. The clock is ticking……………………..T

4 More volunter swimmers today brings our total up to target of 10 swimmers. Very positive response on the sponsorship and we have been offered the prize of Kayaking lessons for our raffle! Thanks Jim!

Swimmers to meet at the Tin Pub 9.45 on Saturday 7th July. Boats will take swimmers to Cashelfaun where they will swim the 2 miles back to Ahakista. Arriving back at between 11.30 and 12.30 the local AhakistaSamba will welcome them back to the beack where hot food, warm welcomes and cool drumming will lift the spirits and warm the swimmers!

Looking froward to lots of local support!

Thanks so much for all the support from Ahakistasamba, Sponsors, Helpers, Swimmers and all who turned out to make this a super successful fun day out!
